Massage Therapist
Reyna Kohl, LMT
Reyna Kohl is passionate about the natural healing and therapeutic effects of massage and other forms of bodywork. She believes that positive, intentional and compassionate touch can benefit everybody, whether you are seeking relief from musculoskeletal/myofascial pain and discomfort, stress reduction and/or relaxation, emotional comfort, or any other of the many reasons people receive massage.
After graduating from East West College of the Healing Arts in 2018, and attending a year-long herbalism program focused on regional medicinal plants, Reyna started her own massage practice, where she began working with clients to support the nervous system, relieve chronic pain, tension, and imbalance in the body. In a typical session she uses a variety of techniques, and loves to incorporate her education in western herbalism in the form of herbal-infused massage oils and aromatherapy offerings.
Reyna believes that settling the nervous system is possibly the most important benefit of massage, as this allows the body and mind to relax into the treatment and allow for the physical work to take effect. She takes great care in creating a calming atmosphere for her clients and enjoys guiding them into a state of deep relaxation. She caters each session to the individual needs of her clients, and if needed, eases into deep, effective pressure to create noticeable shifts without having to force anything. Her sessions have often been described as transformational – for the body, mind, and spirit.
She offers therapeutic massage treatments focusing on Swedish Relaxation and Deep Tissue Massage and incorporates elements of Tuina (Traditional Chinese Massage), Craniosacral Therapy, Structural Integration, Myofascial work, cupping and gua sha.
